Beltway Angels invests in promising startup companies raising from $100K – $1million, typically in the range of $200K-$500K for an average round. We meet monthly to review applications as a group, although funding rounds are generated on a deal-by-deal basis depending on the inflow of startup companies looking to partner with us. We are not a fund, our members make no commitment to invest, and we do not charge a carry or management fee to be part of Beltway Angels. To minimize the burden of managing investments, Beltway Angels creates a sole-purpose LLC as an investment vehicle to gather funds from members and write a check as a single entity.
